Peace in the Pain J#7

Hi Everyone,

How are you all? I hope this post finds you well and good.

It is that time again to share another journal with you all. To give you some context this journal was written during a challenging season in my life which you can read as I shared in a previous blog about learning perseverance.

12th September 2016

This journal is raw and very real, it was a time in my life I needed to trust God more than anything or anyone in this world. As I re-read the journal it was a total reminder of God’s pure faithfulness! I am in awe of God’s goodness with how he planned out my life to this date with Almond and my two babies.

This journal was in the midst of all life’s craziness where there was immense pain but God’s peace provided me with so much hope to trust in him and most importantly have faith!

Reflecting on this journal, I think the real point of difference has been my faith because God provided me supernatural strength when I was weak to trust his plan because his ways are better than mine. I think my journal speaks for itself that I continually need his guidance in my life.

To be transparent with you all I did hold off sharing this journal for a year because I did not want to unpack it and was not sure if I would share it on here. I think that I needed to share this journal so I do not grow weary of doing good for God’s kingdom and giving him glory.

I know that I am feeling very weary lately with doing good in my life because things are so unfair in life sometimes that it can be so depleating mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Although, it is really important to highlight this journal has given me an opportunity to share that no matter the amount of pain I experience it is God’s peace and love that keeps me from destruction especially during that season.

   Galatians 6: 8-10
8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

I hope and pray this journal encourages you to seek a relationship with Jesus! My prayer is that you believe with all your heart, mind and spirit God gave his only son for you to have eternal life.

Love G x
